Big Bear Lake

John and I got to spend the weekend at Big Bear Lake last month. Our friend, Patti, who we go to hockey games with has a cabin (well, it's her parent's cabin) right on the lake. So we went up Saturday morning with Aunt Janie, Aunt KK, and Grandma Patton. We walked around downtown Big Bear and checked out Patti's son's gift shop and stopped in at the chili festival. John put on a show at night and we went wakeboarding early in the morning with Patti's son with my new board. Since the bindings tore on the board I was using, I was going to just buy new bindings, but it wasn't much cheaper than getting a new board and bindings used (thank you craigslist). It was an interesting experience to go behind a ski boat with ski rope and where the water is warmer than the air temperature. So here's some pics for you to enjoy.
