So we decided to get Disneyland passes again (thank you overtime and a raise!). Originally we were going to get them when we went with Monica and Lucas when they took Mackenzie and Zoe, but it was going to rain that day so it wouldn't be so good for the little girls. So John and I went that day anyways and got our passes! I'm still super excited to go with our nieces but I FINALLY got to go on the new Star Tours ride! I still miss the old one but the new one is cool! So here we are with our 3D glasses getting ready to hop onboard!
One of the things we love about going to Disneyland is the random people you meet. One this trip we met a boy and his mom who were on a mini vacation to go see an agent so the boy could try to start getting acting roles. The boy acted very adult-like and like a little kid all at the same time. We were in line for Space Mountain and he got super excited going "oh wow" and such when we went inside and he saw the ship above the loading zone.
So we went over to California Adventure so we could see what was happening over there since we had been there last year. The Radiator Springs area isn't open yet, but the rock work looks mostly done (as you can see in the picture).
We went on a swing ride we hadn't gone on before. It had a nice vantage point of the park.
They are re-doing the entrance to California Adventure (and I really really hope it opens before our passes expire!!) so they had a lot of boards up with cute vintage cartoon pictures. So John and I practiced posing like the characters. :)
Hooray for another year visiting Mickey's home!!
So fun! I didn't know they were redoing the Star Wars ride. But I bet it's cool!
ReplyDeletethey made it 3D and there's like 50 different variations. I forgot to mention it but they had a rebel on-board in the scenario we got and they threw up a picture of the rebel spy and it was John. :)
