So we had a relatively quiet Thanksgiving this year. Cari's family was in Utah so we went to John's parent's house. The Knudsen's went to Kathy's house this year so it was Cari, John, Doug, Nancy, Kirsty, KK, Janie, GG (aka Gma Patton), Scott (Cari's bro), and a girl from the singles ward. Doug smoked a delicous turkey. Monica wasn't there so we went to store bought rolls (oh the heresy!). Nancy's pies were delicious as always too! To make it a better day, the Cowboys won their game!! With time management and running the ball, they ran down the clock from about 2 minutes to 3 seconds while being down 2 points. Then kicked the winning field goal with time running out so the Dolphins wouldn't have a chance to respond. Thank goodness that guy made it or all that careful time management would have been a waste!
So the next day we did a lot of cleaning, a little bit of shopping, a little bit of Christmas decorating and went to lunch and the Ducks game with Janie and KK. Was another loss but still an entertaining game! And we took some pictures with the George Parros cutout before the game.

The next day we got our Christmas tree, decorated that, and went to help decorate at John's parent's house. I didn't decorate - I was on Mackenzie and Zoe duty with KK. We walked around the neighborhood and Mackenzie played on the electric toddler Harley the Jackson's have. I was too busy making sure she didn't drive into the curb or cars to get a picture though! After that Mackenzie did some "helping" in the house. She "helped" the same way she did last year.
